Top Five – June 3, 2018

1. VBS won’t happen without you!

Vacation Bible School is a churchwide opportunity to invest in our children’s spiritual development. It’s also a chance to reach children and families in our community with the love and truth of Jesus.

But VBS doesn’t happen automatically. It is a churchwide effort, that involves a lot of volunteers (especially adults!) serving freely in a lot of ways.

If you’ve been meaning to sign up and haven’t yet, click here to volunteer today!

2. 1Up Sunday

1Up Weekend is an opportunity to help students get connected and transition into the next grade! Sun, June 3 starts with a 6th grade parent and student breakfast at 8:45am. All rising 9th-12th graders are invited this afternoon to “Slide into Summer” at Greg and Beth El Xanders, featuring a 300-ft slip n’ slide. Go to wildwoodstudents.com for more info.

3. Congratulations Eric!

Eric Ryan will be officially ordained as a pastor in our PCA denomination on Sun, June 3, at the 11am service. Pastor David McNeely will present a charge to our church family, and special guest Caleb Click of Perimeter Church will give a special charge to Eric as he officially becomes one of our Wildwood pastors.

Pastor Bob Evans will preach the first message in the “Who Are You?” series at 9:15am. Both the 9:15am and 11am messages will be available in our mobile app and website early this week.

4. It’s not too late

Summer is here but you can still sign up for camps starting soon! Check out “Princesses Around the World” Dance Camp, Cooking Camp, Archery, Sewing and more at wildwoodtlh.com/summer to sign up before they fill!

5. Vision Sunday

We have a significant event coming up the end of summer for our entire church family! Vision Sunday on Aug 26 will be a time to discover and celebrate the exciting things to come at Wildwood Church! Join us for either of our two presentations, 4pm or 6pm, with a potluck cookout in between at 5pm. Childcare will be available by RSVP for the 5pm potluck and 6pm presentation for those attending. We will also have a luncheon presentation Fri, Aug 24 for those unable to make Sun.

This is a significant event for our entire church family, so please mark your calendars now and plan to join us at the end of summer!
