Top Five – July 29, 2018

1. Vision Sunday Childcare

The deadline to RSVP for Vision Sunday is Aug 19! Childcare is available by RSVP, so if you need it be sure to RSVP soon at wildwoodtlh.com/vision. Since seating at the community center is limited for both presentations, we are asking those without small children to sign up for the 4pm presentation so parents with young kids can take advantage of childcare at 6pm.

2. OFS Back to School Bash

Our Father’s Storehouse is back with another Back to School Bash next Tues, Aug 7, 4-7pm. We could use some extra help Mon, Aug 6, to prepare supplies and groceries for our friends. If you are available, come to Wildwood at 9:30am.

3. Young Families Pool Party

Bring the kids and join us for a Young Families Pool Party on Aug 12, 3-7pm at Summerbrooke Golf Club. Access to the pool will be free, along with hamburgers, hotdogs, and sides. Northside Stage favorites Chris Skene and Mickey Abraham will even be there with live music!

4. Men’s Ministry Breakfast

Looking for a way to get involved in a Men’s Ministry? Join us Sat, Aug 4 at 8am in the Fellowship Hall for breakfast and a conversation about the future of men’s ministry here. Pastors David McNeely, Bob Evans and others will share how men’s ministry aligns with the larger vision of our church, as well as ways to connect in men’s ministry. RSVP to Michael Neal at mrneal70@gmail.com by July 30.

5. Last week for Deacon Nominations

Do you know someone in our church family who would serve well as a deacon? This is the last week to nominate new deacons. Pick up a nomination form at either sanctuary entrance and drop it off in the Church Office.
